Moving Home During COVID-19 Pandemic

The Government has issued official coronavirus advice for home movers we, at Middleton Estates, have broken down this information to help all current and future home movers.

If you are thinking of putting your house on the market or you already have your house on the market you can still do so. We are able to offer potential buyers virtual viewings of your home and are also able to do virtual evaluations during this time. You are also still able to accept offers, you just need to be aware that the process of actually moving may take a while longer.

If you have already accepted an offer on your home there is absolutely no reason to pull out of the sale. You just need to be flexible and ready to adapt throughout the selling process. Mortgage lenders are helping the property market to keep people moving by extending mortgage offers allowing for any delay caused by the virus.

If you are unable to delay the move, for whatever reason, you just need to be cautious and follow all the general Government advice on minimising the spread of the virus by social distancing and cleaning routines.

The main point to take from all of this is that communication is now, more then ever, key between everyone involved in the move. Middleton Estates have been keeping in touch regularly with all of our clients and are happy to give advice to anyone at any stage in the moving process during this time.
